We all have an abundance of inner energy, but unfortunately there are thousands, possibly millions, of factors that robs this energy away from us.
Discovering your inner energy is extremely important because without it, you aren't truly living life.
With out your inner energy you are only going through the motions of living life.
You are not living it to its fullest.
You aren't experiencing events and emotions the way they are meant to be expressed.
You may claim to be happy, but can you truly be happy if you are only reaching half of your potential...
looking at the world through the eyes of sedation, dreading to get up in the morning only to go to a job that feels pointless? Discovering your inner energy is far more valuable then all the money in the world.
This discovery leads to happiness.
It is you living your life the way it is meant to be lived.
It is seeing the beauty and appreciating every 'mundane' thing that makes this world so wonderful.
If you want to discover your inner energy, you need to make a commitment to yourself.
You need to acknowledge that this quest is so much more important than your job and your bank account.
You need to make a commitment to prioritize your Life before your so called "responsibilities".
I hope I have emphasized the importance of discovering your inner energy because without it you are better off living in a coma, where you don't have to deal with all the negativity and lethargy that plagues your life.
An Awakening I've chosen to write this about discovering your inner energy because I am finally starting to understand it myself.
I have begun waking up.
I am finally finding my inner energy.
After going through my entire life half asleep, overwhelmed by fear, anxiety, sadness, and exhaustion, I finally decided to do something about it.
In December of 2009, I decided to move to Bangkok, Thailand.
It was a decision I made because I felt angry, discouraged, and defeated.
I gave up on my life.
I didn't care anymore.
I decided the only thing worth doing was to fly to Thailand where I can at least offer someone else the chance for happiness.
I left my life behind.
I gave up on it and moved to the other side of the world to focus on making the woman I loved happy.
This became my life purpose.
My only purpose.
This idea of desperation turned out to be the best decision I ever made.
I quickly learned that she cared about me more than I cared for myself.
Because of her love and my one purpose in life, I did what I had put off for a lifetime.
I sought medical help.
A month later, I came to learn that I was very unhealthy.
I received a storm of bad news about multiple problems with my health, my lifestyle, and the consequences.
I didn't care.
It just gave me an excuse of why I was the way I was; why I was a failure.
After receiving this news, I started seeing multiple specialists to fix my problems.
I did this for Siri, my new wife, to make her happy.
Two months went by and things started to change.
I started feeling different.
I started seeing life in a completely new way.
I began to discover love in ways I didn't think existed.
I started noticing the beauty in everyday life.
I was now experiencing a type of energy from deep within me, and I felt alive...
for the first time in my life.
I chose to share this story because I don't want you to wait until you give up on life to discover this amazing feeling, this amazing life, and the incredible clarity that I never knew existed.
Please, make the commitment now to discover your own inner energy and maybe I can help guide you there.
Document Your Life The first thing you need to do is to start monitoring your life.
You can't just go to a doctor and say "help me".
You need details, you need what is happening to you, what you are doing to empower it, and exactly what outside and inside influences are affecting your quality of life.
More importantly, your doctor needs to know.
Start a journal and begin recording every aspect of your life.
Record what time you wake up, what time you go to sleep, the amount of sunlight you received for that given day.
Record what you ate and every ingredient in the foods you consumed.
Track the amount of time you spend moving and the amount of time you spend dormant, sitting in front of a computer or T.
Write down every detail of every moment of your life.
Next, find out what people honestly think of you.
You will likely be surprised to learn that your friends and family know more about you then you know about yourself...
even though you pride will cause you to disagree with most things people say about you.
Ask for their honest opinions about you and how you live your life.
Learn their beliefs about how you would react and handle various circumstances and events.
Make a request to have them imitate their perceived version of you.
Observe their interpretations of how you are, how you act, and how you react.
Write it down.
Record every opinion, every word, every action, and everything you may or may not have learned from each friend and family member's feedback.
After you documented our life for approximately a week, and recorded everything that makes you who you are.
Its time to make the hardest step of them all, full disclosure.
Let Your True Self be Known Share all the information you collected with your journal to everybody you know and don't know.
Type it into the computer and post it to message boards, forums, and social networks.
Get as much feedback, advice, and opinions as you possibly can.
Then add those to your journal.
This will be extremely hard because opening up your personal life leaves you vulnerable and exposed to criticism and judgement.
Its an invasion of privacy in the biggest way.
You are exposing your thoughts, the most intimate details of your life, and all your flaws to the entire world for them to critique, judge, gossip and joke about.
It will hurt at first, but after a while, you will feel liberated; No more lies, no more secrets, no more sugar coating the truth.
After everything has been recorded, documented, reviewed, critiqued, and redocumented...
it time to see a doctor.
You may feel like you are 100% healthy in every way, but you are not.
There is something wrong with you, something that can be fixed or improved, something that is keeping you from living your life to the fullest.
See many doctors at first.
See specialists, therapists, nutritionists and keep searching and visiting doctors until you find one, or several, that is willing to invest in your life, discover who you are, and help you be who you can be.
Only then will you begin to discover your inner energy.
The life inside of you that you didn't realize you had.
It may take a long time and cost you some hard earned dollars.
It may make you feel ashamed about everything you have done in your life.
But once you discover your inner energy you will realize...
it doesn't matter.
You will realize you weren't really living.
If you don't make this commitment, to yourself, to discover your inner energy, you are just giving up...
